thanks for all the nice compliments on my last couple of photos. I do so appreciate you stopping to look at them! now, ever had a coney island hot dog? this is a very Michigan thing (although it did not originate here). it is a hot dog with chili, mustard and onions. it's delicious. I haven't visited this one...passed it on the way to a Mexican restaurant we hadn't tried before. I liked the photo opportunity it presented though. it was featured in an Anthony Bourdain (famous chef) show a couple of years back when he visited Detroit. he said it was the best coney he had ever had! opened in 1921 and owned by the same family. it is now on the list to visit!
