every year I have photographed these quince blossoms in various stages. this is quite early in their blooming process. it is very early in the year for them to be blooming at all. I have noticed the the differences from year to year so i went back and checked the exif data for 2015 and 2016. each year they have been about three weeks earlier in the blooming process!
@darylo started a discussion about this, did you see it? my quinces are just ripening now, smaller than previous years because of the abysmal summer we have had until this last couple of weeks
@kali66 I did and posted this to the thread. I had been thinking the same thing for a while. Interesting that others have noticed it but of course photographers notice everything I think!
this is a lovely photo. have been noticing the "too early" blooming also...a neighbor posted photos this morning of her crocuses coming up..no way they should be poking out in Feb.!
