@carolinesdreams it's a frozen soap bubble. We've had temps in the mid teens and lower which are required to freeze bubbles. A mix of dish soap water and sugar and corn syrup or glycerin are the mixture to get these bubbles to stay put long enough to freeze. The crystals form slowly on the bubble as it gets colder. It eventually fills the entire surface of the bubble and then weakens and pops!
I have never been able to get the bubble recipe right to get frozen bubbles. And that is a shame because I live in an area where I should be able to do this!
Will have to give it another go!
@farmreporter 1 cup warm water, 2T sugar, 2.5T corn syrup, 2.5T dish soap. Add corn syrup to water, then sugar, stirring. Then soap (dawn blue recommended). Let it sit in freezer for 30 minutes before using. I blow the bubbles with a straw. 15 degrees or colder. No wind. I do mine in the garage!
Will have to give it another go!
Thank you! I was told to use glycerine but if your recipe works I will give it a try!
