This great blue heron that I photographed in upstate New York reminded me of this Navajo blessing from here at home in the Southwest:
"With beauty before me may I walk.
With beauty behind me may I walk.
With beauty below me may I walk.
With beauty above me may I walk.
With beauty all around me may I walk."
What a wonderful picture as well as a wonderful object of the picture. Great Blue Herons are hard to get good pictures of. I am always amazed at the beauty of Gods creation. This is a fav for me.
