rolling countryside

I think that this shot sums up the countryside we are surrounded by.

A busy day outside making the most of the dry, bright (cold and windy) conditions. Finally got round to tidying up the stable where we store all the animal food and equipment. Burned load of old feed bags in a brazier - very satisfying! Lilly, the most nosy and mischievous of the donks had obviously never seen fire before and could not resist coming for a look at what was going on. She stood directly downwind right in the middle of the smoke, edging closer and closer until she was so close I thought that she was going to get singed.
