last of the freezing cold days - we are in for howling gales and driving rain from Friday.
Much of the day spent carrying bales of hay and straw and containers of water around.
Finally got round to putting the outside Christmas lights up to discover that approximate two thirds of them aren't working.
Went to Waitrose (it is really sad when I consider just how much joy the opening of a Waitrose store in Stratford has brought to me! How has my life come to this..........?) and when I had loaded the car up I moved (OK threw!) my tripod into the back and it somehow pierced a bottle of fizzy water so a gushing fountain ensued followed by a drive home with water dripping off the interior of the roof, straight onto me.
sorry, i did lol a little at the bottle explosion, only because i can imagine doing it myself!! I hope the camera managed to miss the fountain. love the focus on this, very nice shot
Oh dear, an entertaining commentary, made me smile with schadenfreude! Lovely frosty shot too. You are right about the weather. Yesterday the sky and sunrise was as beautiful as I have ever seen it around here. Today it is still dark at 10am!!
Yep, was definitely warmer last night and driving rain has just set in here (impeccable timing - just at the point that there is no escaping the need to pump out the loo...).
This is nice though - all delicate and gracefully leafy
