busy day today, gots lots done so feeling much less stressed about Christmas.
Went to Duns Tew first thing with Angus to pick up the rowing machine that we have bought off ebay for his Christmas present. He is feeling a bit ropy this morning with a cough that seems to have come on over night. It is very rarely that he ever says that he feels ill so I hope he is going to be OK by Christmas Eve when everyone arrives because he is really looking forward to it.
Finally got the study (AKA dumping ground for every bit of junk that we want to quickly get out of sight when people come round) sorted out so the MIL can stay in there over Christmas.
My main achievement of the day really is writing "THE LIST" which contains everything we need to do in the next 48 hours. Once I have a list I feel that I am in control!
I have been trying to get this shot of the decorations wrapped around our banister for a few days because I like the effect of the gauzy decorations on the bokeh. Not really got the full effect, but posting it anyway so I can make myself move onto something else.
Nice sho Jan. Lovely golden tones and bokeh here. We have our list too, still working through it, but Turkey is cooked, more mince pies made, last cards delivered, all shopping complete, massive wrapping day tomorrow!!
