erm......... not sure quite what this is, but it's not 'me' that's for sure, but actually I quite like it.
Part of my failed trip out yesterday morning to capture misty sunbeams that's what it is (oh yes, with the crap edited out of it too!)
Suppose it makes a change from cutesy wootsie cuddly animals.
Spent most of the day at the Focus on Imaging expo at the NEC today. Saw quite a few really good talks and demos, mostly about lighting, and an amazing demo by Karl Taylor, using a sound activated trigger and mega fast lights to capture two full wine glasses smashing into each other. I subscribe to his Youtube videos, and it was great to see one actually happening.
Bought a wireless remote viewfinder/trigger which I am looking forward to having a play with. Was very nearly tempted by an demo of Topaz editing plug-ins too.
I think that my favourite thing of the day 'tho was the people watching opportunities. Lots of men walking around showing off the size of their tackle in a 'mine's (lens!) bigger than yours' frenzy. Hilarious... especially when they started muttering to each other in true Nobby Knowall fashion, criticising the people (well known professionals!) who were doing the talks.
Feet are killing me now. Quiz night at the pub tonight........
Not you at all but I would have been glad to be the taker of this shot.....very hazy & delicate. The trees specially are so pretty, the more defined front one & the little pale ones at the back.
A whole big lot.
Very cool processing.
