this is my friend's cat. She has a permanent Elivs-style lip curl and a bit of a funny eye probably my friend thinks due to having been kicked when she was younger. She is a really nervous character and this is the closest I have ever got to her.
Graham went out tonight to collect the final few bits of his bee hives and I have spent most of the day trying to catch up with housework which has slipped somewhat due to last week's May Day preparations. I'm really sorry that I haven't been able to do much commenting over the past week or so, hopefully things will get back to normal a bit next week.
It was a beautiful day but the forecast over the next few days is looking pretty grim.
So excited to have got into the final five of the last Weekly theme - a 365 first for me and such a lovely surprise.
I laughed when i read about Elvis then my mood saddened at the thought of someone being cruel to the cat ... glad she is with a good home now ~ love the detail and dof of the shot
Ooh !! poor Pus ! she must have been in the wars at some time --made me immediately think of *Cats* the musical !! love that show !! Glad this Pus has found a loving home
I love it ...what a great moody look but she is safe now thank goodness. I must post a shot of our cat Lily who has a twisted back & no tail!!!! Hope things improve & you will have the exams on now too...soon be summer!!
She has been through the wars hasn't she. Nice character shot and great that she has found a good home.
We had a cat that we had had all her life from a kitten and we treated her well, but she kept disappearing for days and then coming home with injuries and then she would mend and off she would go back out into battle again. Sometimes these things happen. Eventually she disappeared altogether when she was about 14 and we didn't see her again despite looking everywhere.
Ohhh bless her heart... what a terrible thing to have happened to her... some people just disgust me... however she is in a happy loving home and wears her scars with much beauty.... this is a gorgeous keepsake shot of her..... ♥
Aw, poor sweet kitty. I'd LOVE to give a swift and hard kick to whoever abused her. I know there is so much animal abuse in the world and I honestly cannot comprehend it. It's wonderful that she has a place of safety to live out her years.

Love her colors-markings.
