I used to plant lots of hanging baskets. A fiddly job and the baskets dry out so quickly that the consant watering became a bit of a pain. These days I have a few of these cages which I put a sawn-off plastic plant pot in the bottom. Much easier to plant, less watering required and quite attractive even before they get into full bloom. Result!
Really wonderful looking plants. The cages are beautiful. I had taken a carved window frame with netting and moss & planted short rooted plants. When they had settled I hung this on the exterior stone wall. A perforated pipe on top watered them at one go.
