I used to plant lots of hanging baskets. A fiddly job and the baskets dry out so quickly that the consant watering became a bit of a pain. These days I have a few of these cages which I put a sawn-off plastic plant pot in the bottom. Much easier to plant, less watering required and quite attractive even before they get into full bloom. Result!
So beautiful !! rustic & a lot more natural than hanging baskets such a natural feel to the scene Jan !!

Really wonderful looking plants. The cages are beautiful. I had taken a carved window frame with netting and moss & planted short rooted plants. When they had settled I hung this on the exterior stone wall. A perforated pipe on top watered them at one go.

Much more original than hanging baskets. You need an automatic watering system.
