After getting back from Cropredy at 1am we were up early getting ready for the 'Hornton Fat Blokes' trip to Weymouth.
Graham and four other men from the village have been training hard for a sponsored walk along 22 miles of the Jurassic coast in aid of Help for Heroes. My friend Harriet and her two sons agend 15 and 17 went along too, together with Angus and I.
My Mum and Dad, together with Sam, his cousin Rory and Rory's cousin Alfie all came to stay here so that they could look after the house and the animals. Sam did of course have the option of coming with us but decided he would have more fun with the younger boys here.
I must admit, I wasn't expecting too much from Weymouth, but I was quite pleasantly surprised. Of course it had some of the usual seaside tat, but not as much as I had anticipated. The weather was great, the beach clean and not too crowded, the boys all got on really well and we all had a good old laugh.
And of course we are always thinking of the photo ops!!! my brother used to be manager at The Regis many years ago & always said Weymouth was a lovely place with an immaculate beach. Love the lighting here & the stunning reflections.
Well done all the walkers!
Well done all the walkers!
Beautiful picture.
You do it every time!
I love the soft, warm glow of the reflection, and the overall lighting is beautiful. Fav
Haha, I was gazing so longingly at the reflection, that it took quite some time before I noticed the light shining over the boat in the foreground.
