A nice bright morning for a change - cold tho. I had planned to do a macro shot of a cyclamen flower, but it was impossible to get the light right and was just about to stomp back into the house in a huff when I noticed this collection of leaves on the ground. They were on the grass by our garage - the neighbours must think I have gone mad.
Think I might put the Christmas lights up outside this afternoon. This year I am feeling a bit less 'bah humbuggy' than usual about Christmas. Probably because it is going to be the quietest one we have had for some time.
That is just a glorious celebration of Autumn Jan.....was going to put winter but the leaves are so late going this year I feel Autumn is more appropriate.
We lit our outside tree a couple of days ago but sadly all the lights are blown around & dangling where they shouldn't. Good timing for yours!!

These are gorgeous - fantastic textures - I'm assuming a RAW shot cos amazing. I'm quite in the mood. Wish we had more people for Christmas dinner but I've got Arsenal - West Ham tickets for Boxing Day (not me - dog duty) so Nigel's dad isn't rushing off on Boxing Day morning and annoying me this year!!
@judithg Thanks Judith, it's HDR. We normally have 17 or more here for dinner, but this year there will just be six of us at my Mum's. Mind you, no rest for the wicked tho, everyone is descending on us for my birthday just after Christmas
