FINALLY got my laptop up and running again. Not the best photo to mark the occasion, but purely a diary entry for me.
Every year a group of twelve women who met when our children were at primary school together go out for a 'bit of do' at Christmas. We get 'frocked up' and go somewhere lovely to eat, drink lots of fizzy stuff, chat, sometimes dance (fortunately we usually get a private room) and generally overstay our welcome by usually being the last ones to leave wherever we are. An unsuspecting husband usually draws the short straw to be the one to drive us home in a minibus - poor soul.'
This year the Baracet Barn, just outside Stratford upon Avon was the venue for our shenanigans. It is a beautiful restaurant, and I can't wait to go back there for a more sedate meal some time in the not too distant future.
I hope all my 365 friends have had a lovely Christmas. Thanks for bearing with me over the past few weeks while I have been out of action because of my computer being infected with nasty virus. I am now all wiped, reinstalled and anti-virused up. I didn't take many photos over the period I was offline, but should be able to upload a few over the next few days (well probably next week because we have got a load of people arriving tomorrow so I am going to be be busy.) I have been looking at lots of your photos but not commenting much because more than a few minutes of typing on my iPad is enough to make me want to throw it across the room, but I hope to get back into the swing of things very soon.
A fabulous tradition Jan...long may you continue to meet up! looks a very festive table & I love those Santa hats!
Have missed your lovely homely shots!
You are back, yippy, all clean and bug free, well done for hanging in there it can't have been easy. Looks like a grand night out and fun had by all, lovley shot of the Chrismas gathering.
I know what you mean by typing on the iPad! I get so irritated! Your friends event sounds great - you must really look forward to it! You would all put on the hats?
Life gets hectic at this time of the year. I have not been able to view or comment on all your great photos lately. I have missed my time on 365.
Hope to get back to it in the New Year.
Until then, wishing you the very Merriest Belated Christmas, and all the best of the New Year!
Wendy
