startled sheep

another filler I'm afraid. I know I have whinged on about the weather far too much over the past few weeks, but today has been gale force winds and horizontal rain.

I have been feeling a bit sorry for myself having to go out in it to feed the animals, but at least I have got a nice warm house to come back into afterwards. I can't stop thinking about those poor people whose houses and land have been under water for weeks now.

As I type this the wind is sounding a bit scary outside and I have just been watching the news where parts of the main railway into Cornwall have been washed into the sea.

Graham and Angus have gone to the pub quiz, but I fancied a night in tonight so have given it a miss. I did get a phone call from Angus asking me to go along because the first round which is a picture round is on British birds, I said I didn't feel like it but am feeling a bit guilty now.

Just watched 'Outnumbered' which it would seem is about 75% based on my actual life.
Oh my, very surprised looking sheep! Great capture! Looks as if he's wondering how on earth he managed to get both ears pierced! :-)

Funny inquisitive little shaggy sheep. Yes outnumbered reflects us perfectly, even down to the father saying ridiculous inflammatory things. I think we have got away lightly with the storms

Would do you good a night in ....when you have been out most of the day in the elements the last thing you want to do is go out at night sometimes.
Just a disaster in the south & west of the country.....we are slowly sinking.....

This is a super shot Jan. Know what you mean about the weather, I feel I've talked about nothing else and I've used a filler today because the few photos I took earlier were absolutely rubbish. I feel totally uninspired atm but as you say we are better off here than those poor people down in the west country!

Jo
Funny shot, it looks a bit two legged! My mum lives in Somerset and is having a miserable time, she has a horse and sheep and is finding it a real struggle, fortunately she is not under water, but is surrounded by it!

Good shot and as all have said some are havin a rough time. It can't be fun looking after the animals at this moment but lets hope there will be an end in sight soon. As Pat says before we sink.
