twiggy

warming herself by the pub fire after a rather muddy walk.
Well you never know it might dry and drop before she goes home and gets it on the carpet. Mud. I'm over it...

Excellent, she looks so comfy. Is she looking for the pint she ordered!!

Love this composition, the mud, the manley boot and gorgeous muddy dog. Fav

Nice capture.

One very happy dog I reckon. I really like all the elements of story telling in this.

Very cosy!

Is that a proper sensible pub that doesn't have carpet? Excellent.

Aww, super capture. Love your composition!

@judithg It really is Judith - just as well really considering there are usually more dogs than humans in there

Wonderful capture- & love her name :)

@jantan You're lucky to have a dog-friendly place - though Monty tends to decide that the public bar is his alone when we do find one...

Lovely especially when viewed large. A dog after my own heart!

Wonderful three dimensional depth to this photo that makes it look so real that I can almost smell wet, muddy dog ...a smell I like I confess :0) There is also a great narrative, with someone walking, the dog looking at something etc. Truly excellent photo. Fav.

Wonderful composition!

great image - nice to see a pub like that too (I've been on too many walking holidays in places like the Pennines, where the pubs are really mardy about the socks I'm wearing, after I left the boots at the door)

To be honest I don't think this pub would last long if dogs and muddy boots weren't welcome. There's even a jar of home made bone-shaped dog biscuits on the bar. @shannejw @judithg

Great detail - like the glimpse of the fire!

Lovely capture!!

Bet that was welcome!

It's good to know there are still pubs that allow dogs in - most of them seem more like restaurants nowadays.
