HDRitis by jantan

HDRitis

On Tuesday evening six of us from our art class went out on the canal on one of our classmate's narrow boats. It was a perfect evening for it and we spent time taking photos and sketching for use in class over the coming weeks. I was trying to explain to one of my classmates about HDR photography and have just posted a short explanation and examples of the original bracketed photos and a couple of examples of different amounts of HDR on the same image on our class's FB page. This is the example I used for an extreme case of 'HDRitis.'
Nice shot !

I like your minimalistic HDR - don't like too much! This is a great subject but I hope you didn't go out on it?

@maggiemae no Maggiemae, the one we went out on was much more 'shipshape.'

This is brilliant. I love it, even if extreme HDR. You say you've posted on your class fb page. Can I see it? Can you send a link? Fav

@shepherdmanswife thanks. What I did was not actually a 'how to' guide but a very basic non-technical 'what is HDR?' So not really sure how much use it would be, but you can see the three photos that were combined to make this one. It is an open group and the link is (hope it works!): https://www.facebook.com/groups/horntonartclub/
