the perfect antedote by jantan

the perfect antedote

The first really cold and frosty morning of the year, with a beautiful sunrise, mist and no breeze to boot. I was more than a little sulky because rather than going out with my camera, I had to go straight to physio for excruciating treatment on a problem I have with my achilles tendon.

The pan contains a steak and kidney suet pudding which is coming up to the boil before being steamed in the oven for six hours. The perfect antedote to a winter's day.
Lovely shot of domesticity. I think I have stove envy!

Love the colour of your Aga Jan....such s beautiful ruby red. You feel warm just looking at it! Good to see you keep your lids nice & clean too....I hate to see them all brown! Shiny everything.....that Aga is well looked after! Would love an addition of the electric bit on the end mine is just the two oven one but I have an electric hob for emergencies! Fave!

Oh even better it's a gas hob!!

@happypat Thanks! It's a regular 4 oven Aga (not a 2 oven plus module) but we had it customised for the two gas rings to be added.

Your stove is beautiful, and I love the reflections in this shot. Hope the painful treatment won't need to continue too much longer.
