on frosty, misty mornings I feel a lot more positive about hauling myself up the very steep hill to the pigs' field. The view from the top makes it all worthwhile. Unfortunately, it looks like the cold snap ends today so it's back to slitheringly wet mud today.
Your pictures are absolutely beautiful! Not only do I want to take pictures like that....but I wouldn't mind your life! What a beautiful place to live and with all those animals! Constant photographic material! I love pictures of animals and your pictures really seem to capture their expressions. I must say your work is brilliant.
@jantan ha ha! Didn't mean to embarrass you! I read your synopsis and it sounds so idyllic! I just love the countryside and all the animals. I'd love all those animals. ..especially the donkeys! But take the compliment, your photos really are amazing.
Fave Jan....this reminds me if the feeling of Lark Rise to Candleford, all those snowy layers & smokey columns. If I saw a television aerial in this shot I would be amazed!
@happypat Thanks for the fav. Interestingly Larkrise was written very near here and is based on the hamlet where the author grew up, a real village and a town (Bicester). A group of us from my village went on a guided tour of the hamlet and the village a few years ago, it was really interesting to see some photos of the actual characters, and the post office etc that the books were based on.
