I was disappointed when I got up this morning to realise that it was another dull and dreary day, with not a hint of frost to make things more interesting for photography.
Graham took the dogs out and messaged me to say that there was still an impressive hoar frost on the higher ground near where we live. By the time I got my act together, the temperature was 1 degree Centigrade and the frost was starting to fall off the tree branches so I wasn't out for long.
This llama was watching a woman walking her dogs in the distance. I don't know why but I thought the scene had a rather mystical quality.
Sam, my 20 year old son who is working from home, was at a loose end and said that he wanted to do something creative. I got a fancy new sewing machine for Christmas and haven't had chance to have a go with it yet. So we got it out and downloaded a pdf pattern from the internet and he made a pair of pyjama bottoms out of an old duvet cover. He had never sewed a thing before in his life, and we had quite a laugh doing it. He did a really good job, so I had better keep an eye on my bedding!
My Mum, who is in a support bubble with us, came over and is going to stay for a couple of nights. She is 80, so fingers crossed she will soon be called for her first vaccination.
Iโm faving this for itโs Narnia qualities! Adam has been known to use my sewing machine and every time he jams it - in fact I jam it too but I do put it right again. Heโs done well with clothes - Iโm stuck on masks... In fact you have done well to get a new sewing machine because they are scarse!
A FAV!!
