Canister

This is an old canister which also belonged to my grandparents. I don’t know how many were in the original set, but i have 4 in different sizes. You can only barely make out the writing on 2 of them. This one is really not legible at all. I like the iridescence on this canister. Oh and there’s a little reflection of me, 😉

The iridescence is lovely. I remember seeing pieces of this style when browsing through antique stores.

@beckyk365 The only thing it says on the bottom is Made in Germany and there is a letter M with a line around it.

@milaniet Well I know that one of the large ones says Oatmeal and the smallest one says Nutmeg. I posted the Nutmeg canister last year on 365. I will try to find it and repost.

@jamibann My dear aunt was moving into an assisted living place a few years ago and my husband and I were helping her with this move. She gave me the pieces that she didn’t want to take with her. Unfortunately she passed 3 years ago but I am honored to have these precious pieces as a reminder of her. Most are in my kitchen so I see them everyday.
