I must clear up something from yesterday about the pasta bowl I posted. Probably using the phrase “I made this” was misleading. It was not technically made by me. The only thing that I did with the pasta bowl and this vegetable bowl was to paint it in a ceramics class. Sorry if it was misleading I did not intend to do that just used the wrong word.
I made this one for my mom in 1980 also. They really don’t hold up very well when used. This one shows many cracks.
I've always been interested in photography since getting my first camera a Kodak Tele-Instamatic with the Flip Flash yearrrrssss ago. So now that I'm...
Thaat's a lovely design. Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding but it no way detracts from you lovely artwork. I used to belong to a china painting class a long time ago when we lived in Scotland, and I absolutely loved it. So therapeutic.
It was a lot of fun to do ceramics. I had white Pfaltzgraff dinnerware as my "pattern" for "china" when I got married. After about 20 years, it cracked underneath the glaze just like this dish. I was very disappointed.
