This barge travels to different parts of the lake for various repairs to docks and marinas. I spoke with the young guy that operates it and he seems to enjoy working on it...hops in the lake to cool off in the heat.
I'd love working on a barge like this - you'd get to see so many areas of the lake, plus have a permanent swimming space at your disposal. Terrific shot, I really like the atmospheric haze and the light shining across the water onto the barge.
