With an hour commute each way, listening to audio books make the journal enjoyable. Then chocolate and lollipops.
I think I have good focus here and hope my problems from yesterday are behind me. I tried auto, aperture and program. This was aperture (I think). My trunk is getting a lot of use. (It actually is where I store Two's litter )
@vignouse Not real heavy reading but great to pass the time. If she has any suggestions I would love to hear. Always trying to add to my list of authors.
@barbarajdonnellan Pat Conroy is a favorite. I read this one a while back. Not my fav but good because he makes you think. This is the book Maeve Binchy finished before she died. It is good. It left me feeling good. Any authors to suggest? If you like these try Lisa See if you haven't already.
@mace508 I took this yesterday for the word love. I didn't put the get-pushed tag because thought too early. BUt is this what you mean. I love lots of things so I have another one in mind.
@debbie3108 This is an excellent one. Unfortunately for me when I started to listen to it I remembered I had already read it before, same with the Pat Conroy. My husband used to keep lists of his reads but I just never get there.
@joansmor I'm finding that on my kindle, for some reason something about the hard copy of a book reminds me I've read it, but when I look on Amazon for books to download I realise I've read a couple after all. Frustrating, but the list sounds like a good idea - trouble is, I'm not that organised!
@debbie3108 Me either with my books. Fortunately audio books are from the library. So no problem. With the Kindle I am reading three authors who have series and reading from beginning to end even if I have read some before. Helps me keep in order. Though right now I am reading an old favorite "House Divided" by Ben Ames Williams.
