My challenge this week is food photography. Since cooking is another of my hobbies I was happy to oblige. I made this honey wheat bread in my bread machine. Had this slice with the honey on it for my breakfast. Pouring the honey and taking the shot requires coordination. Something I lack. I used a lesson from my scrapbooking on food photography to edit it. Love trying food pictures and would like to get good at it someday so thanks Sally. @salza
Looks good. My mother would make home made bread like no one else's. The crust would be hard as a rock and the inside nice and soft. So when we had honey and bread it also needed butter. Cold butter put on with big chunks. The honey also cold Mom said if the honey was warm it would run off the bread. She wanted a lot of honey on her bread. Nobody who ever lived with my mother walked around skinny.
@wildernesswillie When I went to collage in my early 40's I was living at home and my rent was to make bread every week. I was making about 4 loafs and my mother told me to cut back we were getting too fat. LOL Your mother was right about the honey.
This is nicely done Joan - toasted crust of freshly baked bread with butter and, why not, honey... yum! Funnily enough, my get-pushed challenge this week is also food photography - haven't tackled it yet.
@vignouse Oh, I was wondering what yours was. You could do some Brie. That would be a real challenge, not a lot of color or shape. I'm trying to think of something challenging to try this weekend.
