Wanna play hide and seek

First thanks for all your comments this week and for letting me indulge my silly side.
Now I have learned a little trick I want to share with you. When the squirrels are ignoring you (because really the look better on their hind legs) just start taking pictures rapidly. The clicking and whirring will make them rear up to see if there is a danger. But be fast. Loved the way he was in the ground cover and after I took this he totally disappeared. Now I have to log onto my work computer to see if the reports have finished running.
Well your ruse certainly worked here Joan, he's certailny looking very alert. Nicely done.

Fantastic capture. And great technique used too :)

Great capture. That technique won't work with other types of wildlife.

Handy trick - thanks for sharing. Your squirrels look different from ours here. Ours are lighter but we do have some black ones and even a few albinos! Do you have some of those?

@sharleen No but I have seen your black ones.

Good shot Joan and a good tip. Our squirrels must be thick as they just stay looking at you but then we do have less predators here.
