I am always getting challenged by my get=pushed partners to add people to my project. I am just not very good a people shots though every once and a while I get one I am happy with. Little A is so photogenic, I think, that she makes a good subject for me. I call her Little A because her sisters names begin with B and C. I tease and call them the alphabet kids. My sister and I were the 5 and 10 kids. Well, for one year. Took this photo Sunday when visiting her parents new home.
I think you do portraits well, though I totally relate in avoiding doing people shots. Thanks for the kind comment on my light/shadows shot -- anytime I'm compared to @northy I take it as high compliment.
I think you did a nice job with this one and the reflection of the blinds on her hair (is that what it is or is it really green?) I think adds to the shot- it's different as is her not looking directly at the camera too. Nice job!! I have a feeling people would be challenging me to do this kind of shot as well.
