My get pushed challenge by @vera365 is a leading line photo. Love that composition so I wanted to try some today. This is my first posting. The only place I may fall down is she wants the focal point at the end and I don't think I have done that. But I loved it so posting it today. This is a bracketed picture processed in Fusion-HDR. I seem to have a fascinating this summer with bw. I also like the little white line that looks like a spike pointing to the back of the river.
I love this in black and white, great design. I really like your bracketed shots as well. Still thinking about trying this program, but I have so much more to learn with lightroom, I have to learn one at a time.
@radiogirl I played with LR all winter so I felt ready to play with this and used the free version for about a month or more before I made the purchase.
there does seem to be a little island back there at the end of the lines. I like the contrast of the leaves with all their texture and the smooth water.
The tone range and focus in this shot are really noteworthy. What a lovely photo! I would like to take a canoe down that sweet stream, heading right for the "V" in the center front. :)
I like it! There seems to be a highlight of some sort at the end of the stream, so the eye goes to that (you mentioned it was a fallen branch?). I am glad you are enjoying the challenge.
I like the way that you thought 'out of the box' for your leading lines challenge... and yes, the difference between this and Jan's colour shot is very striking.
