You see this scene a lot in the summer in Maine (not so much in the winter). People who get to the restaurant before it opens especially for breakfast. This is my friend Yvon in the center. I have told you that she looks at my pictures and some of yours all the time. We went for breakfast at the Goldenrod at Short Sands in York Beak. Now Goldenrod has a pretty good breakfast but what they are really known for is their Salt Water Taffy. (You may recall this picture http://365project.org/joansmor/365/2015-06-30 ). Had a mushroom, spinach, cheddar omelet. YUM And stayed away from the taffy. This is a tablet pic but I did get some with my digital too at the ocean.
This going out for breakfast is such an alien concept here in Europe... but I enjoyed doing it on visits to the states. My favourite is corned-beef hash... and that's nearly as bad as salt water taffy for the waistline! They all look very patient here... and Hi to Yvon.
Sharp shot and great street photo. This reminds me of the joke my husband made years ago when the children were still small. Hungry at table, after the praye, he would joke and say..."ready steady go!"
@joemuli I sharpened it in LR lol finally figured out how to get it from my tablet to the cloud to my computer. The tiny geek in my can learn new things.
@taffy Early morning fog made me read your message twice before the brain kicked in and I got it. I have a weakness for taffy and @taffy photos. At least yours is not fattening.
@taffy No shortage of restaurants just lots of heat so a day at the beach in store for way too many people. The beach parking lot is in back of this place. So you can nab a beach parking place and eat breakfast out. In that respect only a few restaurants available.
Great shot. Not being a morning person, I can't imagine getting to a restaurant before it opens for breakfast! LOL! But, I fully understand why this doesn't happen in the winter in Maine!
