I'm going to need a vacation to recoup from my vacation. Today we drove
Over the top of Lake Champlain, down to Ausable Chasm (see picture), missed the turn off to the ferry, and in coming back found a great place for lunch, back in Vermont we drove up to Ben & Jerry's for the tour and a taste of ice cream, then onto Montpelier where we had supper at a great Italian place. I did this as one run on sentence to give you a true sense of the day. The title is for when my mentor asks why I did this. Tablets can be fun.
Hi @joansmor it's Monday here in the UK and I am your get pushed partner for this week. I have set you a challenge and posted it on your picture entitled contemplation, 14 August. Please could you let me know if you are able to set a challenge for me for this week? thanks
@stephanies sorry I am on a 3 day weekend. I meant to give you a challenge last night but fell asleep. I will keep it relatively simple. Since you like outdoor photography and want to learn, I will set you a composition challenge. I want you to take a photograph using leading line as your composition See my pic http://365project.org/joansmor/365/2015-05-02

You are so fun and funny! Love that run-on sentence to give a sense of the panting at the end of that kind of vacation. And that selfie, with seemingly spectacular waterfalls below, just adds the right touch.
This post was fun to read because you were in the very area where my dad used to live. In fact he and I and my son Erick went there many years ago and I remember it being a beautiful place. My sister and her family still live in the Montpelier area and I'm pretty sure I know which restaurant you ate at!! Sometimes you just have to take the fun shots!
HI Joan!! What a fun time you are having...and such a lovely selfie. I know that feeling of needing a vacation from the vacation. Not a bad problem to have though! Love that picturesque scene behind you. Just lovely!
What a darling photo! How I wish we'd visited this site years back when we must have been in that area! It's gorgeous! What a wonderful place for a selfie!

I want to see more of that valley - there's more than one shot to be had there.
Have fun!
