I started processing this morning and decided to work through my pictures in chronological order. This is a picture that my sister took with my cameral out the front of my car window. We were driving on a interstate heading to meet a friend for breakfast.. You can see the haze that made our picture taking problematic. The heat was pretty bad. I have a few more pictures from this first day that I will probably post.
You're smart to get going sooner than I have! I'm starting to play catch up in chronological order starting over a month ago! How many guesses that I won't get very far?
@vignouse Don't know anything about a haze filer. I hear people talking about filters in LR but I have never seen any other then radial and graduated. Maybe I will have time soon to look into it. I would not apply it any more to this picture as this is how it looked that morning. And that it what I wanted to capture. I know that is probably wrong and I should want to clean it completely. Oh well. That is stubborn me. Hope I get some time to check that out though as I have lots of haze to tone down. Boy I remember going into the mountains and getting sharp clear pictures and now a days it is only a matter of how much "haze" (you know we are really talking about smog) you get.
@vignouse Well dang, I should be getting caught up on my commenting but curiosity got the best of me. Easy but will take some thought to figure out the WB. But I have some pictures from the lake with this problem too. Took me a lot of playing to get rid of that haze. Thanks. I saw that "Dehaze" and thought it had to do with Vignetting since it is in the same place.
What a wonderful trip with your sissy! This is a great shot to commemorate the start of your trip. I've never seen the dehaze filter in LR. Will have to check it out!
This looks quite familiar! I think I've been here. It's unusual to have such a haze in Vt. I think? Still, it's worth the rare shot to remember the trip by.
