Talking to a friend

I captured this shot at Wells Beach Sunday standing up on the sea wall looking down on the beach. I wanted to capture that sun river and loved it led to the woman and her dog. In the unprocessed picture the lady and dog were mostly silhouetted. So I used and adjustment brush to increase the exposure on them. If I was on beach level and they were slightly bigger I would have loved the silhouette but I thought you needed to see the colors to help them stand out as beings and not as dark blobs. No my challenge this week is a person and a bet - dang this is dated last week.

I don't often suggest this but looks good on black.
So pretty. Love the colors and subject matter.

The almost silhouette works well Joan but I would have been tempted to crop the top and bottom leaving this in landscape format with the woman and dog in the bottom right corner... if only because the bright sea draws my eye some.

Liked viewing this on the black - makes a great background for the colors. Like the silhouettes and their shadows.
