Sometimes there are fun accidents. As I was playing with my new work light taking pictures I looked up from the camera and saw the colored reflection on the white board and just had to get a shot. My new light as just to the side of my lens.
This is doing double duty as my get pushed is to represent Happy . This does it for me a chocoholic. This is chocolate mint tea (oh did I just hear a group groan from the Brits and Aussies). Not to mention my happy with the reflection. Enjoying the tea as I post.
Have to try this one - love what the light has done in creating that neat reflection with wonderful color. The only light I've found easily is a little LED under $5 camping lantern from WM that I played with a little this afternoon - thanks for your prompting.
Really, chocolate mint tea? And does it taste like chocolate and mint? I know, we're a photo site, BUT I'm having a chocolate craving and we have nothing here. That would be something to have on hand for situations like this.
@taffy I add a little chocolate creamer powder as I like cream in my tea but yes it does. It is by Stash. https://www.stashtea.com/ love their salted caramel too.
Brilliant idea, great colors and bright background. This quite a "product photography". I feel the need to do my way to buy some tea, red or green in my case ;)
There actually is a mint plant called chocolate mint. It makes the best tea! I used to have some in my garden (no, it was a mint so it didn't die, that was just another garden). Just plan it far away from other mints. It's more the smell that reminded one of chocolate rather than the taste persay, which was sort of peppermint. In any event, I'm inspired to copy this happening and see what light through a liquid might produce
can't say i fancy the flavour but then i'm from the UK.. ;-)
