So turns out you had better be there bright and early to capture these guys. There were 4 this morning (one is submerged. They were four of then merrily swimming away along the edge of ice. I drove down to where the ice was broken off hoping they would swim into the mini cove. They did just that. The food must have been plentiful. Then one of them came up in a small hole in the ice. Like kids the other three had to give it a try. I left them diving back and forth between the mini cove and the hole.
