Surf Scoters

And once again I didn't have my long lens as I was thinking snow shots when I left for work yesterday morning and it was snowing. But saw these surf scoters which are a migrating winter bird. Sometimes I just like to record a special moment.

It's still a good shot and perhaps you can crop it a little to get them closer (just if you want to, I think it looks fine!).

@egoodine I was at bug light by the parking and they would come just so close to the edge and than move away. I never did get back with my long lens. You know sometimes you just get lucky.
