Long exposure by joansmor

Long exposure

It has been forever since I tried a long exposure on flowing water. Today my nephew and I took a ride up rt 11 to Augusta. I like this rout because it wanders though many towns past lots of ponds, lakes, streams and rivers. This being spring and most areas ready to overflow I thought it would be a great day for water shots. This is the Saco River again but at Steep Falls. Thought it came out pretty good.

I'm not usually keen on the long focus misty water shots, but this is really beautifully done!

Excellent blurring of the water! You could have zoomed in on the water alone and made a beautiful abstract.

I agree with @skipt07 the water alone would be a wonderful abstract, I find my eye drawn to it.
