I had to go to a memorial get together so I am very late posting to my 365 album. I planted this well before Thanksgiving in November. It stayed a little stub for weeks and then at Christmas it grew tall. This is one of the smallest ones I have every had.
@joansmor I'm your partner this week for the get pushed challenge. This lovely flower made me think of challenging you to photograph translucency in nature - backlit. Nature is full of textures and shapes that sometimes can be better appreciated as light passes through your subject when lit from behind. Bird wings, petals, leaves etc. I hope you like your challenge.
@adi314 It sounds lovely but I am not sure where I find something translucent in nature in the dead of winter with snow turned to ice. Haven't seen birds at the feeder lately. Think I brought the wrong feed and it may be clogging the feeder. I can do this with something not from nature like clothe or paper.
@joansmor That's too bad, you don't have a plant at home? When I said nature I didn't necessarily mean go outside, I thought you could use the petal of this lovely flower. if you still don't want to try it I can come up with something else.
