Titmouse portrait by joansmor

Titmouse portrait

I finally took a few moments to try out the new tripod that sits with the longest lens I have on it. It is pointed at the birdfeeder. This Titmouse obliged me to be photographed. It zooms in that if I were to show you the whole bird I wouldn't have to crop. But since I wanted a portrait. I did crop.
Beautiful b&w portrait. Pretty tinge of green on the feathers.

I like the closeup, the tones in the coloration, the clarity, the composition. Basically, I like it all.

The detail is so intense that when I scroll up and down the tiny barbs on the feathers seem to ripple. Great job.
