Morning at Mother's beach

I had an early foot doctor's appointment in Kennebunk, so I decided to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich and head to the beach first. We can now go to the beach there and not pay to park. This picture is a result of pointing at the sun the reality wasn't this color at all. But I rather like it.

I don't recall if I knew that you are from Maine. I had the good fortune to visit Maine a few times when I was stationed in Massachusetts. A buddy of mine met and later married a girl from New England, who took us to a quaint spot in Bald Head on the rocky shore of Maine. I fell in love with it, so I took my new bride there for our honeymoon. I also took her to places in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
