Autumn Mono Madness

It might be madness but I wondered what my photo from a couple of days ago would look like in b&w.
The only way to find out was to try it. Not sure what I think so will be good to get your feedback. Better large.

I like it, but I think it needs viewing large to get the lovely foreground pattern in the leaves.

For me it is hard to say because I like both of them. Overall, I think that the colour one might have the edge.

Both great shot but have a very different feel. The b&w is more dramatic and you notice more the light and textures whereas the colour is all about the colours and season. But beautiful but for different reasons

I think this works well, although the edges come up quite dark on my screen. It feels a bit more eerie and its almost like you are walking through a dark tunnel to get to the light at the end. If that makes sense!

It's strange because I almost always prefer colour versions of pics but this time I actually prefer this one, especially the foreground.

I love this one, I like how your eye is drawn down the lane to the back of the picture (if that makes sense).

Suprisingly (to me) I like the bw version best as it is more dramatic.
