Hi Jocasta, I see you r on the mentor list...I was wondering if u would be interested in helping/critiquing me? I have a canon t3i and SL1. I use the sl1 more because it is so much lighter! I know you have a lensbaby and I got one for my birthday! I use PSE10 or picasa ... I love to play there and have learned a lot... Take a look and let me know...if no...no worries whatsoever...:) I know we don't follow each other and this would be new eyes for me.. This is my 2nd year so just trying to learn without too much pressure...except for that we put on ourselves!:):)lol... I think it would be learning and fun to hear wwyd! @nanderson Hi - I think this is a brilliant idea of Linda's and want to support it - both to be a mentor and to be mentored. I'd be delighted to be a mentor but not sure exactly how useful I'll be or how good I'll be at it - but willing to give it a go. Jocasta is my nickname and Joy my real name to I think I should be Joy for this. I use different editing software from you so probably not much use as a mentor there but maybe more use with the lensbaby. Would be very happy to critique your lensbaby photos and offer advice. Is that any use to you?
@nanderson ps Do you have an iPhone? - I use my iPhone and various iPhone apps a lot here.
It never ceases to amaze me that for all my fancy expensive cameras and lenses many of my best photos are taken with my iPhone.
@jocasta you are funny...yes I have an iPhone....I am open to some challenge there! Lensbaby input would be awesome too! Love that lens! I think feedback/critique would be helpful thru your eyes! You have a wonderful eye! I am looking to do night shots..which I am no good at...more mean tripod use...lol. If u r willing...we can try to see how it works..absolutely no pressure on your part..I get time constraints....I think it could be fun! I love your name. Happy...happy...Joy..,! @nanderson Great - now, where to start? I've just read what Linda wrote and she suggests "let's get started with healthy, helpful critique and questions and answers to/from the Mentors as they arise first" How about once a week I look at your photos - lensbaby for now - and see if I can offer some positive critique. Very flattered that you like how I see things - because that is always so subjective. How about a couple of weeks of lensbaby and then a couple of weeks of iPhone? - either way round.
@nanderson afterthought - I'm happy to answer any questions you have on a more regular basis - I try and post daily so could answer any questions daily if I have time.

I looked at some of your lensbaby photo and like many...the @beachradish inspired photo and lensbaby at Broadbeach
I have done a few I posted on April 28-2-3rd album; April 30-1st; June 2nd-2nd album..if you would like to take a look.
Let me know your thoughts and how you would like to see it go...thank you for doing this!
p.s. I did shoot some lensbaby today since it was sunny and will post if you would like...:) once a week is fine is that works better for you..if I do more than one shot...(which I probably would :) I can just tag you and you can look at them whenever..really truly no pressure..okay?
