A filler today to remind myself that I used to take photos without a lensbaby on my camera. I'm going away next week - maybe I should leave the lensbaby at home.
I like the pose -- you have a strong diagonal from top left to eyes to book to the tip of the foot... and the other leg creates another diagonal which is perpendicular.... and the intersection is at the area of the book so everything leads the eye there. Coolness! Actually the direction of light follows the secondary diagonal too :)
@janim I love your photos and all the lines and angles - so found your comment on this pose really interesting. I knew I liked the shape but I hadn't given much thought to the diagonals. I'm going back to look at all my favourite photos of yours to look at the shapes.
@michael1947 Thanks very much, Michael. At the moment the lensbaby photos interest me much more than non lensbaby photos but I think I need to do a bit of both.
This is such a great portrait. So interesting re lensbaby...I am thinking I have to put it on and leave it on, or I'll never learn to use it! What a frustrating lens!!
