I bought a bunch of sunflowers with an idea in mind for my challenge from Richard - planning creative blur from a shallow DOF. It didn't really work - not creative enough - so have played with the colours and came up with this.
Richard's challenge.... " I'd like you to make an image featuring creative blur produced in camera, not in processing, using any lens of your choice... other than the Lensbaby!!"
Ooo. I like that colourful background bokeh... looks like there is a yellow bird in there somewhere ;-) The pink sunflower is inspired... you've achieved your challenge with flying colours I think.
Hi Joy! I'm your get-pushed partner. I've been enjoying the company of two grandchildren so I'm a bit late getting to your challenge. It's been a treat to browse your diverse albums with so many visual treats! You do an amazing job tweaking to get amazing images, so my challenge is to take a photo of a sunrise, sooc. Hope this works for you. - By the way, our state flower is the sunflower and I think your creative version is striking!
@genealogygenie Thank you for your kind words about my project. SUNRISE!!!! That' s s bit early - and only really get a decent photo of that when we're at our seaside house. How about another photo of your state flower instead? - something different but probably not SOOC .
