cough cough splutter splutter

cough cough splutter - that's me blowing the dust of my lensbaby. Such a long time since I used it andI've discovered something in the menu (called peaking) that gives me an idea which bits will be in focus.. Little black dot on the right is Betty with a stick.
Excellent! I can't wait for my lensbaby to arrive now and start playing too. I new straightaway what that little black dot was, by the way. ;-) Great shot.

Peaking? I'll have to remember that for the month I spend with my LB for ntmc. Love the shot. Great processing and presentation.

Love this, great blur and great high key. What's peaking? Is that a lensbaby thing or something on your camera?

@rachelwithey focus peaking... It's on my new Sony but I've googled to see if it's on Canons. It's not but can be added and I think I'm going to try cos it's brilliant with the lensbaby - shows you exactly which bits will be in focus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jrx2kJ6dBt4
I had a lovely compliment from Joan - when she first saw this photo she thought it was one of yours.
