Welcome to Australia Maddie!

My son and his wife and my granddaughter, Maddie (aged almost 11 months) arrived from New Zealand today. They will stay here in Sydney visiting me and other relatives etc for just over a week. New Zealand was pretty much shut down for Covid for well over two years. So I missed their wedding over two years ago and Maddie’s birth. Anyway I finally met Maddie today for the first time!!

Faved it as I know exactly how you feel. You will have been so sad to miss those milestone events. We were last in NZ three years ago this coming March. Home to the UK on last flight out of Auckland. We haven’t met our great granddaughter yet & flights now are so expensive.
