This was another photo taken using the "Bleach Bypass" filter on my camera for the challenge @30pics4jackiesdiamond gave me. I left my camera on this setting all week and was surprised to see that one of my favorite ways to use it was with skin tones.
I think that overall I still prefer the colors of other simulations but it's definitely an interesting look. It's a good way to pull detail out of the skin/face too, if that's what you're aiming for.
I think the skin colors are fabulous (for this weather). This isn't at the Cascades on the Huron, is it? That grass looks mighty familiar... https://365project.org/houser934/365/2022-12-29
@houser934 Oh my gosh, it is! Our photos were taken about 10 minutes apart. We must've passed each other! Great minds think alike - it *was* a great day for a walk along the river!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond I saw your comment on the other image - thanks for the heads up that tags don't work in the description! Thanks for the challenge - it was a tough one, and I enjoyed learning a bit more about my camera. :)
Sounds like you found it a learning curve as well as a challenge. I admit I had to Google the technique when it was set for me as a challenge. Works brilliantly for blurry long exposures.......
Happy New Year 🎆🎊💥🎉🪅
