While out for a walk I saw this tree with the sun setting behind it. After uploading to my PC, I couldn't decide between B&W or Colour. What do you think?
I prefer the color! You still get the wonderful tree silhouette, but the blueish tinge in the color helps convey the cold, contrasted by the warm golden sun! If possible, you could tell me how you go about posting 2 in 1? I think I would do that a lot if I knew how!
Personally, I like the colour version. The complimentary colours look great, and the sunset is very striking. In the monochrome version, there isn’t enough contrast between the top branches and the sky for my liking.
@carolscho Hi Carol, first of all you need to save two different version of your photo. Otherwise you can of course have a collage with all different photos. I found this free site from Adobe. https://spark.adobe.com
Once you sign up and get yourself a userid and password, all you do is select your theme and colours etc. etc. and then download it to your PC. The slight drawback is the Adobe logo at bottom-right, but who cares?
@casablanca@rumpelstiltskin@carolscho Thanks everyone for your comments. I'm coming to prefer the colour version too, especially as Lynn pointed out the contrast of the tree branches and the sky is better in the colour version.
