Too cold at The Bell

The local pub with empty benches and tables - just too cold for an outside drink. Originally a coaching inn built in 1500 and something with a carriage entrance that was sealed up when carriages were no longer the transport of choice. The railways came to Faringdon in 1864 but the line was closed to passenger traffic in 1951 and closed completely in 1964.
An unusual arrangement of upper and lower windows on the left side - is that where the carriage entrance was? I love the huge bell.
