Weald and Downland Museum

The Weald and Downland Museum near Chichester houses a collection of buildings that have been saved from destruction - plus old tools, vehicles etc. This photo shows an old shepherd's hut and an old forge.
An interesting place to visit :)

One of my favourite places to visit with, or without even, my camera. Bayleaf is my most photographed building!

Oh wow, wonderful place - years since I was here last! Though I notice you are a guide at Arundel. We visited there last August, would you believe! May have even met you - we talked a lot to the guides because we always have plenty of questions about history. Wonderful place..

@casablanca They opened a new restaurant and interpretation centre earlier this year and they are re-constructing some more buildings now. I may or may not have met you at Arundel Castle, depending on which day you were there. We're all part time and this year I worked on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and some Sundays.

@joev It is very interesting, especially when they have one of their "special" days - ploughing, rare breeds etc.

@30pics4jackiesdiamond Bayleaf is gorgeous, especially in winter when they light the fire. The Morris Men were great again yesterday, especially Mythago.
