Not sure

Take a compelling image, straight out of camera(SOOC), that was the instructions for this week. (52 week challenge) I saw this bedraggled wet rose and saw a creature and thought okay, I'll run with this one.
Excellent one for that theme as I also thought it was ahead/face of something which was decomposing until I read your narrative - nicely done!

@mastermek Truly appreciate the fav, thank you kindly.

@jeffinvt Thank you, I saw one too. I guess I'm glad that I didn't trim back these this year :)

@cscarr97 Thank you a great deal.

@maskerade At first I just saw the drops since it was rain/snowing when I took my shot. Upon looking again I saw an eye then ears etc.

Nice sooc, I was checking my photo fed on my small mobile (cell) phone and the first thing I thought was that this was some sort of monster! Can't wait to see how you are going to edit this in week 50...

@taffy Thank you, the rose was very beautiful in bloom and still has a great deal of character now.

@la_photographic Thank you very much.

@francoise Truly appreciate the fav, thank you very much. I am amazed that this bud kept strong throughout the recent storms.

@gerry13 I always thought my imagination would get me in trouble some day. Now I know that is a healthy part of being an artist. So, from my point of view, if I see something weird, maybe I supposed to. :)

@megpicatilly Thank you ever so much for the fav. This rose bush gifted me with two sets of blooms this year and I was very happy. I hope that by immortalizing it on 365, its happy too.

@kali66 Thank you, seeing weird things makes me smile, mostly.

@stephanies I haven't though that far in advance. I will be now. This gorgeous rose bush brings such lovely color to my front yard.

@joannakate I am very grateful for the fav, thank you. Winters here (Flagstaff Arizona) can be harsh but this bush always gives gorgeous blooms.

@julzmaioro LOL, Mr. Stevens @gramestevens would see the beauty in a goathead. The creature aspect has been a great deal of fun.

@mcsiegle Thank you, it actually is just outside my front door so the guilt I feel for not pruning has been softened by this wonderful community of photographers.
