I was just about to take my camera off the tripod upon returning to my car when I captured this- sorta by accident. I found that I actually liked it and it would fit for the current technical challenge- Out of Focus.
It is an infrared capture of the full moon rising before sunset yesterday.
I am so very very grateful for all of your kind and supportive comments and favs. The moon and I are testing one another. I had originally wanted to try and capture it out at Two Guns ghost town but wasn't sure how far east the snow was so this tree (which has made an appearance here before) fit the bill so nicely. There was one other brave soul out there yesterday. No Unicorns, they were probably just sitting in from of the fire at Mormon Lake Lodge with popcorn and hot coco.
@johnfalconer@pdulis@runner365@pistache Thank you all so very much, I am very grateful. Learning to step out of the 'normal' box takes courage. Learning to let a mess just speak for itself takes practice, not making the mess, that's fun.
